Carl Wheeler brings early-career linebacker upside for Prairie View A&M
Carl Wheeler is a Prairie View A&M linebacker who earned all-district first-team honors in high school, suggesting a strong defensive instinct and room to develop into a reliable front-seven piece. His profile points to a player with toughness and two-sport athleticism, which can translate into range, competitiveness, and quick reaction skills at LB. Publicly available roster information is limited, so his current college performance is harder to measure than his upside; that makes him more of a developmental fit than a proven impact starter right now.
