VMI WR Tice Toomy Brings Depth, Effort, and Red-Zone Utility
In the 2022 season, Tice Toomy was a low-volume but efficient VMI receiver, appearing in 4 games and producing 2 catches for 13 yards and a touchdown, including a 6-yard score at Mercer, which shows he can contribute in limited snaps and handle assignment football. He looks like a fit for teams that value dependable depth, special-teams willingness, and players who can capitalize on small opportunities rather than dominate targets. Based on the available roster data, the evidence is production-focused but limited, so he projects more as a role player than a proven featured weapon.
