Navy’s Joey Bullen: clutch leg, proven winner, and a high-pressure special teams weapon
In the 2005 season, Joey Bullen was a first-team All-East kicker for Navy and scored 79 points while going 9-for-12 on field goals and 53-for-53 on PATs, highlighted by a game-winning 46-yard field goal against Air Force. He stands out for clutch accuracy, composure in big moments, and the ability to swing close games with his leg. The key context: he also missed much of his junior season due to injury, so durability and readiness matter as much as pure talent when evaluating his fit.
