Saluki hustle merchant with a proven winning résumé
LaMar Owen’s Southern Illinois profile is built on efficient scoring, rebounding, and the kind of hustle that coaches love—he was the MVC Sixth Man of the Year in 2004 and made the All-Newcomer Team after averaging 8.3 points and 4.0 rebounds while bringing contagious energy off the bench. In the 2003-04 season, he posted 8.4 points and 5.4 rebounds in 18.8 minutes, and in 2004-05 he remained a reliable two-way forward at 6.6 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. His edge is toughness, versatility, and glue-guy impact rather than flash.
