Danny Cihocki brings strikeout stuff and bullpen-to-rotation value for NIU
Danny Cihocki is a 6-foot-3 right-hander for Northern Illinois whose 2026 season showed real two-way value: he was named MAC Co-Pitcher of the Week after a 10-strikeout gem, tied for the conference lead early in the year, and later earned All-MAC Defensive Team recognition. In 2026, he worked both as a starter and reliever, giving NIU length, toughness, and flexibility; his season included 80 strikeouts in 92.2 innings in 2025 and a strong 2026 run highlighted by durability and poise. If you want a pitchability arm who competes hard and can swing between roles, he fits.
