Bryce Habuda brings contact skills, gap power, and walk-off value for Southern Illinois
Habuda looks like a useful infield bat for Southern Illinois because he already showed a well-rounded offensive profile in 2025 at Pasco-Hernando State, hitting .326 with 63 hits, 14 doubles, 5 homers, 43 RBIs, 27 walks, and 11 stolen bases in 58 games, while also keeping his strikeout total relatively modest. He profiles as a left-handed hitter with enough on-base ability and speed to impact games beyond the box score, and SIU’s own recap of his 2026 walk-off RBI suggests he can handle pressure moments.
