Mary Carter brings size, shooting, and wing versatility to Wake Forest
Mary Carter is a 6-3 senior guard/forward for Wake Forest who gives the Demon Deacons a rare blend of perimeter shooting and frontcourt size. In the 2025-26 season, she opened strong with 16 points in her Wake Forest debut and has been one of the team’s top three-point threats and minutes eaters, while her Cal Poly track record showed efficient scoring and steady rebounding. Her biggest appeal is lineup flexibility: she can stretch the floor, defend multiple spots, and score without needing the offense to be built around her.
