trusted, assignment-sound Badgers LB who made clutch plays in a deep Wisconsin front
Burks has been more of a dependable, under-the-radar fit than a headline-grabber for Wisconsin: coaches and teammates valued his impact, and he showed he can close by stringing together three solo tackles to stall Iowa’s drive. He’s built like a classic Badger outside linebacker at 6-3, 216, with veteran experience, strong run support, and a reputation for being “Badger tough.” In a rotation-heavy linebacker room, he looks like a good fit for teams that want toughness, discipline, and reliability over flash.
