Proven Strike-Thrower With Starter’s Experience for FAU
Horner brings real mound credibility to Florida Atlantic: across four seasons at Ave Maria, he appeared in 60 games with 51 starts and piled up 256 strikeouts in 279.1 innings, signaling durability, strike-throwing consistency, and starter-level workload management.[3] He also showed enough trust as a top rotation arm to start ten games in 2024, which suggests he’s more than a situational reliever.[2] For a team, the appeal is a dependable right-hander with experience, volume, and the kind of competitive résumé that usually translates well into higher-level innings.[2][3]
