undersized slot weapon with Indiana roots and sneaky all-purpose juice
Luke Shayotovich has long looked like a compact, quick-twitch receiver type for Indiana, listed at 5-foot-8 and 177 pounds on the Hoosiers’ roster, with a background that includes 116 receptions, 1,500 receiving yards and 1,669 all-purpose yards at Avon High School. He stands out more for burst, toughness and versatility than pure size, which makes him the kind of low-drama, high-effort slot/special-teams fit coaches usually love. For a team that values reliability, local connection and grit over flash, he’s the classic “small frame, big engine” add.
