Ian Dell brings veteran edge to Lafayette’s defensive line room
Ian Dell is a sixth-year member of the Lafayette football program and now serves as the team’s defensive line coach, which matters because he brings continuity, position-specific teaching, and a clear feel for how Lafayette wants its front to play. His differentiator is experience: he is part of the program’s recent defensive infrastructure rather than a stranger walking in with a generic system. For a roster-building fit, that usually means steady technique work, accountability, and development-minded coaching for linemen who need toughness, detail, and consistency.
