Iowa DL with a high-upside frame and trench toughness
Nate Roos is an Iowa defensive lineman profile worth watching because the Hawkeyes consistently value disciplined, physically mature trench players who can hold the point and fit multiple front concepts. Publicly available search results do not show much current season production or detailed scouting data for Roos specifically, so the clearest read is that his value likely comes more from size, effort, and development trajectory than from headline stats right now. If you want a lineman who can grow into Iowa’s hard-nosed defensive identity, he fits the mold.
