Ryan Sousa is a rising Southern Illinois slot threat with early production and clear big-play upside
Sousa has already shown he can win quickly and make yardage after the catch: in Southern Illinois’ 2025 games noted by the program, he caught 3 passes for 72 yards against Indiana State and added another catch for 5 yards at Missouri State. He is a sophomore wide receiver, and the early stat line suggests a receiver who can stretch a defense without needing heavy volume. For a team looking for a disciplined, high-effort pass catcher who can grow into a reliable target, he looks like a useful fit with room to expand his role.
