Colton Sandage brings proven scoring punch and steady backcourt production for Illinois State
Sandage is a compact, experienced guard whose value starts with shot creation and end-of-possession offense, highlighted by a career-high 33 points in a 2021 game for Western and a recent ESPN stat line of 10.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game with 41.4% shooting for Illinois State. He looks like a fit for teams that want a scoring guard who can steady the tempo, handle the ball, and give them a reliable offensive connector rather than just a pure volume scorer. [1][2]
