Chris Lewis brings explosiveness to South Alabama’s WR room
Chris Lewis, a Mobile, Alabama product and South Alabama wideout, is a compact playmaker with real after-the-catch juice and hometown-grit appeal. ESPN lists him with 11 receptions for 147 yards and 0 touchdowns, averaging 13.4 yards per catch, which suggests a receiver who can create chunk gains when featured. The big selling point is feel and toughness: he’s local, familiar with the program, and looks like the kind of receiver who can add pace and energy to an offense even when the box score isn’t screaming for attention.
