Kurt Joseph brings LIU backcourt grit and defensive edge
Kurt Joseph gives LIU a tough, low-ego guard presence: his game log shows a limited scoring role in his career at Long Island University, but the profile that matters is his physicality, ball pressure and willingness to do the dirty work for a team that leans on disruptive defense. In the 2025-26 season, LIU’s team identity has been built around strong defensive numbers, and Joseph fits that mold as a glue guy rather than a volume shooter. If you want a guard who competes, defends and can stabilize possessions, he’s worth a look.
