Chelsi Welch brings shot-making, steady guard play, and clutch OU pedigree
Chelsi Welch is a proven Oklahoma guard whose best calling card is perimeter scoring: in the 2006-07 season, she averaged 9.1 points and 2.9 rebounds while ranking among OU’s all-time best free-throw shooters at .885 and hitting 3s at a high clip. She’s the type of player who can tilt a game with timely shooting, confidence, and experience in big moments—she was also a 2003 Big 12 co-Freshman of the Year. If your team needs a poised, floor-spacing guard with real college production and a “shows up when it matters” vibe, Welch fits the bill.
