Macy Ray brings veteran guard savvy and disruptive defense to UIW
Macy Ray is a Katy, Texas guard for UIW whose profile is built on quickness, poise, and defensive disruption; in her high-school senior season (2017-18), she averaged 12.7 points, 2.4 assists, and 2.3 steals per game while shooting 38% overall and 36% from three[1]. UIW’s roster bio also notes she was her team’s offensive MVP, and her college stat line included a season-high 5 assists in a 2020 game, hinting at a steady floor general who can create without forcing the issue[1][7]. If a team wants a high-IQ, intensity-forward guard who can pressure the ball and make the simple read, she’s the kind of fit that quietly makes lineups better[1].
