Versatile Forward with Elite Rebounding and Defensive Instincts
A reliable two-way forward who excels in the paint with strong rebounding prowess and shot-blocking ability. During her time at UT Rio Grande Valley and later at MSU, Mercelita demonstrated consistent efficiency (49.3% FG) and double-double production, including a 20-rebound performance. Her intensity on both ends of the floor, combined with her ability to impact winning (led UTRGV to district/bi-district championships), makes her a valuable role player for teams seeking a hardworking, fundamentally sound forward who can contribute immediately in limited minutes.
