Matt Barone brings veteran depth and trench toughness to Duquesne’s defensive line
Barone is a veteran Duquesne defensive lineman whose value is tied more to experience and program continuity than to public stat production, since the available roster information confirms his long enrollment with the Dukes but does not provide current season numbers. He is the kind of interior piece teams look for when they want a reliable, physical presence in the front seven and a player who understands the demands of the position. If you need a proven depth add who fits a blue-collar defensive identity, he is the type worth monitoring.
