Trey Coleman brings physicality and versatility, but his listed college role varies across programs
Trey Coleman is a hard-nosed, versatile athlete whose recruiting profile and evaluations point to edge, toughness, and contact balance, with 247Sports listing him as a 3-star running back and ESPN showing limited early-career production at Tennessee in 2023 (4 carries, 9 yards). His most useful differentiator is his physical style and willingness to play through contact, which can fit a team looking for a disciplined, high-effort depth piece rather than an instant star. Note: the available results do not clearly confirm a current Rice Owls DB profile, so his present roster status and exact position should be verified before drawing firm conclusions.
