Reliable Reserve LB for North Dakota Fighting Hawks
Javen Butler, a junior linebacker for the North Dakota Fighting Hawks in the 2014 season, appeared in all 12 games as a dependable reserve, tallying six tackles including a season-high two at Missouri State—showcasing his steady reliability and team-first intensity without flashy stats. His track background from North Dakota (sub-7.10 60m dashes in 2016) highlights elite speed and athleticism that differentiate him as a pursuit LB with big-play potential. No injury red flags; his gritty, no-nonsense persona makes him a low-risk, high-motor fit for teams needing depth and special teams spark.
