Drew DuPont brings middle-of-the-order thump and loud exit velocity to App State
DuPont arrives at App State after a breakout 2025 at Lake Land College, where he hit .358 with 11 homers, 27 doubles, 79 RBI and a 1.111 OPS while serving as a No. 3 hitter and earning JuCo World Series All-Tournament honors. His differentiators are clear: left-handed power, strong bat speed, and a profile that produced a 94.5 mph max exit velocity in pre-draft/trackman-style reporting. He looks like a fit if you want a physical corner outfielder who can drive the ball and produce immediately, though his college track record suggests more impact bat than polished defender.
