Roel Rodriguez brings a guard profile UTRGV can build around
Roel Rodriguez is listed as a UT Rio Grande Valley guard and appears on ESPN’s roster/profile pages, but publicly available stat detail was limited in the sources reviewed[1][4]. The useful takeaway: he’s on a program that has recently played fast enough to generate 16.5 assists per game and enough balance to stay competitive in the Southland, so a guard in that environment has to handle pace, decisions, and pressure well[10]. If you want a fit who can thrive in a team-oriented system and do the unglamorous guard work, Rodriguez is worth a closer look; if you need a loudly documented stat-stuffer, the current public trail is thin[1][10].
