Evan Zapp brings versatile bat-to-ball upside and steady edge for USI
In the 2025 season, Evan Zapp hit .250 in limited action for Southern Indiana, and the 2026 stat line shows a tougher start offensively, but the profile still pops for contact skills, versatility, and a proven competitive background from Center Grove’s state-final run. He’s a left-handed hitter with outfield value, added strength at 5-foot-11 and 205 pounds, and enough athletic juice to keep teams honest; the fit question is less about flash and more about whether you want a grinder who can grow into a reliable role player with gap power and toughness.
