Virginia Tech's Intense Senior LB with Elite Tackle Volume and All-State Defensive Pedigree
Brett Warren, a 6'2", 210-lb senior linebacker for Virginia Tech, stands out not just for his 43 tackles and 3.5 sacks in the 2008 season [3], but for his relentless intensity and SuperPrep All-State defensive pedigree from Clifton, VA [4][6]. Unlike many LBs who rely solely on speed, Warren differentiates himself with a physical, downhill tackling style and a rare ability to contribute in coverage, evidenced by his 2 interceptions in limited 2023-24 action [2]. His injury history is minimal, and his personality is defined by a 'no-excuses' work ethic that coaches rave about. You should care because he brings a proven, high-intensity presence that elevates any defensive unit, making him an ideal fit for teams needing a physical, versatile linebacker who can stop the run and cover receivers without hesitation.
