Davonte Fitzgerald brings veteran size and sneaky two-way value to SFA
Davonte Fitzgerald is a 6-8 graduate-student forward who gives Stephen F. Austin a big, experienced body with proven college mileage from Minnesota and Texas A&M before landing in Nacogdoches. In the 2018-19 season, he flashed a versatile stat line at SFA with 11.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 25.9 minutes per game, hinting at the kind of rangy, hustle-heavy forward who can defend, rebound and chip in offensively. The selling point is simple: he looks like a steady, multi-role frontcourt piece rather than a one-note scorer.
