Makenna Reid’s lefty craft and poise kept FSU in the hunt all season
Makenna Reid, a senior left-handed pitcher for Florida State in the 2026 season, gave the Seminoles a reliable high-leverage arm, finishing with 5 wins, 1 save, and a 4.24 ERA across 29 appearances and 38.0 innings. Her value goes beyond the line score: she’s a tough, composed competitor who can work as a starter or out of the bullpen, and her quick response after a rocky outing showed resilience rather than panic. For a team needing a mature, versatile lefty with playoff-level confidence, she’s a strong fit.
