Small, speedy guard from Nicholls with old-school grit
Jacob Turnipseed is listed as a guard from Nicholls State, with profile data showing a compact frame and Louisiana roots, but the available public basketball records are old and do not provide current 2026 production or modern stat-leader context. What stands out is the classic underdog guard profile: a local Louisiana product, undersized but experienced, and likely valued more for toughness, pace, and backcourt savvy than raw scoring volume. If a team wants a disruptive, high-effort guard who can play with chip-on-the-shoulder energy, he fits that mold.
