a high-impact two-way guard who was already one of Marshall’s go-to scorers
Ida Dotson stood out at Marshall as a versatile **two-way guard** who could **score, pass, and defend**, and she was strong enough early in her Herd career to earn **Preseason All-MAC** recognition after being described as one of the league’s top threats. In league play she was Marshall’s leading scorer at **15.1 points per game** in the cited season, and she also flashed playmaking and disruption with a **17.5-point, 4.0-rebound, 3.5-assist, 3.5-steal** stretch that earned MAC East Player of the Week honors.
