Michael Gatti brings strikeout stuff and ace-level poise to New Haven
In the 2025 season, Michael Gatti was New Haven’s breakout arm, posting a 3.00 ERA with a 3-1 record in nine appearances, eight starts, while striking out 62 batters in 45 innings and walking only 15[1]. He also earned First Team All-Conference honors, which fits the profile of a right-hander with real command, bat-missing ability, and the kind of mound presence that travels well in big games[1][3]. If a team wants a starter who can miss bats, keep traffic down, and handle meaningful innings, Gatti looks like a strong fit[1][3].
