Toledo's High-Potential QB with Shrine Bowl Pedigree and Pocket Precision
Michael Julian, Toledo's backup QB, stands out for his elite Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas selection and pocket-passer precision, completing a 62-yard TD pass to Zach Yousey vs. Fresno State in 2017. His differentiator isn't just stats—it's his intense, disciplined personality and injury-free history, reflecting a leader who thrives under pressure. While he played only four games as backup (2-of-5 passes, 67 yards, 1 TD), his Hilton Head High School pedigree and 247Sports scouting report highlight rare mental toughness. You should care because Julian embodies the 'good fit' for any team seeking a QB with calm decision-making and high ceiling. He's not a star yet, but his foundation suggests he could be Toledo's next breakout QB if given the chance.
