Cornell Banks brings Fresno-grown size and rugged run-stopping upside to the Bulldogs
Cornell Banks is a 6-foot-3, 310-pound senior defensive lineman from Fresno’s Edison High who comes with a blue-collar profile: in high school, he posted 96 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, 6 pass breakups, and a blocked field goal, earning local all-valley and all-section honors[1]. The fit is pretty obvious—he looks like a sturdy interior presence who can hold ground, stack blockers, and bring physicality, especially for a team that values homegrown toughness[1]. If you want a DL with size, strength, and a local-matters edge, Banks checks that box in a very real way[1].
