a steady Buffalo long snapper with the quiet kind of value coaches love
Tim Krantz is a classic hidden-gem specialist: Buffalo’s long snapper, a role where consistency, trust, and clean execution matter more than box-score flash. In Buffalo’s 2011 season, he appeared in all 12 games, helped the punt unit allow only one blocked punt, and was part of a kicking game that produced 11 field goals and 19 punts inside the 20; he also registered two tackles that year. That profile says “dependable, durable, and coach-trusted” — exactly the kind of player who fits a special-teams-driven roster.
