Marist's 6-5 Versatile Wing with Untapped Scoring Potential
Class of 2008 recruit Dorvell Carter, a 6-5, 175-pound shooting guard/forward for the Marist Red Foxes, flashed early promise in the 2012-13 season, averaging 5.0 points and 2.3 rebounds across 13 games (11.3 MPG) with a sharp 75.0% FT shooting clip on limited volume. His slender frame and New York toughness suggest high-motor intensity and positional versatility as a perimeter defender and shooter, but limited minutes hint at development needs in strength and consistency—ideal for mid-major teams seeking raw athleticism and upside in a patient rebuild.
