Shaulana Wagner is St. John’s veteran engine at guard
Wagner brings a steady, high-IQ floor-general presence: in the 2024-25 season at Troy, she averaged 9.0 points, 6.7 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals while leading the Sun Belt in assists and assist-to-turnover ratio, then carried that playmaking feel into St. John’s with a game-winning basket and a team-high eight assists against Xavier in January 2026. She’s the kind of guard who helps you win possessions, not just box scores—composed, competitive, and able to control tempo. If your team needs a veteran distributor who can also make timely shots and raise the edge level, she’s a strong fit.
