Rumpf is Maine’s late-inning fireman with starter’s toughness
Brennan Rumpf’s 2026 value for Maine is in his versatility and poise: he started early in the year, then settled into key relief work and even earned save opportunities, including a 3.2-inning scoreless finish against UMBC in the 2026 America East playoffs. The numbers show a bullpen arm who can absorb multiple innings, but the real selling point is competitiveness—Maine trusted him in pressure spots after a rocky start to the season, which says plenty about his makeup. He’s a fit if you want a right-handed pitcher who can bridge games and handle leverage.
