Columbia’s steady guard with real point-guard feel
Nicolo Romanelli is a 6-foot-2 senior guard for Columbia who has shown a sneaky valuable blend of size, ball movement, and composure; in the 2023-24 season he delivered a career-high 10 assists against SUNY Delhi, and in the 2024-25 season he appeared in 15 games off the bench while shooting 48.0% overall and 52.9% from three on limited volume. He’s the kind of low-drama, team-first guard who can organize an offense, but the big question is role and availability—he did not see action in 2025-26, so teams should value the passing IQ and maturity, not expect a high-usage scorer.
