Aiden Derkack brings size, defense, and playmaking to Dayton’s 2026 class
A 6-foot-5/6-7 wing and four-star 2026 prospect, Aiden Derkack is a high-major fit because he defends like a menace, attacks the wing with purpose, and helps teammates rather than chasing empty stats. Reports describe him as a lockdown defender and not just a score-first guard, which is exactly the kind of two-way, winning profile Dayton likes. He also comes from a basketball family, with strong pedigree and a steady, competitive edge that shows up in the recruiting buzz. If your team wants a versatile, physical SG who can impact both ends, he’s very much worth the hype.
