Appalachian State's Ironman OT Turned Detroit Lions Pro
Beau Nunn, a 6-4, 265-lb Appalachian State offensive lineman from York, SC, exemplified college football durability by starting 41 of 43 games, earning First-team All-Sun Belt honors as a senior for his pass protection and run-blocking prowess. Despite a modest 2-star 247Sports rating (70), his relentless intensity, blue-collar work ethic, and zero major injury history make him a differentiator—proving overlooked gems can thrive. Now a Detroit Lions guard with NFL stats on ESPN, he's a perfect fit for teams seeking gritty, reliable trench warriors who elevate the line without the hype.
