Cyrus Ekugwum Brings Big, Experienced Interior Size to Southeastern Louisiana
Ekugwum is a 6-foot-4, 345-pound senior offensive lineman who gives Southeastern Louisiana a heavy, veteran presence up front after time at Pearl River CC and Murrah High in Jackson, Mississippi.[1] His biggest value is raw mass with experience, which can help in short-yardage power football and pass protection by creating a stable interior anchor rather than a flashy stat line.[1] He looks like a good fit for a team that wants a physically imposing, developmental OL with college seasoning and a straightforward trench-first identity.[1]
