UNC's Dominant LHP with Elite Intensity and Dual-Sport Grit
Tim Lawson is a 6'5", 230-lb left-handed pitcher for the North Carolina Tar Heels whose differentiator is his explosive intensity and proven dual-sport resilience, having signed to play both baseball and football. In the 2023 season, he posted a stellar 1.94 ERA over 21.2 innings with 36 strikeouts in 10 games, showcasing elite command and a large, strong frame with present lower-half strength. Unlike typical pitchers, Lawson brings a rare 'never-out' mentality honed by football, making him a high-fit candidate for teams needing a pitcher who can handle pressure and recover from injury. His 2025 Cape Cod League presence and 2024 national rankings confirm he's a top-tier prospect ready to dominate.
