Ball-hawking Torero safety with proven turnover knack
In the 2019 season, Daniel Tolbert was an All-PFL honorable mention safety who posted 33 tackles, 3 interceptions, 1 QB hurry, and 1 pass breakup in 10 games, helping San Diego rank 3rd nationally in interceptions and 6th in turnover margin[1]. He reads the game well, brings finishing toughness, and clearly has a nose for the football—exactly the kind of defensive back who can tilt momentum without needing the spotlight. If you value instincts, range, and takeaways over flash, he’s the kind of fit that quietly makes a secondary better[1][2].
