Luke Monico’s bat is heating up for Marist after a versatile, clutch 2026 breakout
Monico looks like a useful utility piece who brings situational hitting, timely RBIs, and steady defense to Marist, and his 2026 production jumped from a .189 average in 2025 to .219 with a .324 on-base percentage and 23 hits in 105 at-bats. He added impact moments too, including a bases-clearing triple, a solo homer, and a grand slam in postseason play, which says he’s not just filling space—he can swing a game. His profile suggests quick hands, solid infield versatility, and a competitive edge that fits teams needing a gritty, adaptable contributor rather than a one-tool specialist.
