Davon Telp Jr.: From High School Star to Bowie State Tackling Force
Davon Telp Jr., a redshirt junior linebacker at Bowie State Bulldogs (CIAA), showcases elite run-stuffing instincts with 12 tackles across 13 games in 2023-24 seasons (8 in 2023, 4 in 2024), highlighted by a key third-quarter stop for loss vs. Livingstone in 2025. A 2021 All-State honoree from Mergenthaler Vo-Tech with 130 senior-year tackles, 10 TFLs, and Big 33 All-Star nod, his high-motor intensity and championship pedigree make him a disruptive defender ideal for teams needing blue-collar LB depth—far from Towson Tigers days, he's thriving at D2 level.
