Hugh Cade is a depth cornerback with special-teams value and program experience at Akron
Hugh Cade profiles as a reliable, experienced Akron cornerback whose biggest value is versatility: he has logged game action across multiple seasons and contributed on defense and special teams, which usually signals trust from the staff and a willingness to do the dirty work. His 2018 Akron bio notes appearances in all 12 games with snaps on kickoff coverage and two solo tackles, pointing to a player who can help in rotational roles and special teams first. For a team, he fits as a dependable depth piece rather than a headline star.
