Veteran Louisiana DB Troy McCollum brings steady tackling and ball production
Troy McCollum is a dependable Louisiana defensive back with proven run support and a nose for the ball: ESPN lists him with 24 solo tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 2 pass breakups in 2026 action so far, plus 4 total tackles in the most recent logged game[1]. He looks like a fit for teams that value toughness, discipline, and special-teams-type reliability over pure flash; his long college track record and three-star pedigree suggest a player who knows his job and usually does it without drama[3][7].
