Tim Smith’s role at Delaware State: depth-chart watch with TE upside
Tim Smith is listed on Delaware State’s 2026 roster, but the available public data doesn’t show enough recent receiving production to call him a featured offensive weapon yet[2][11]. The best read is that he’s a developmental tight end worth tracking for size, blocking utility, and red-zone potential rather than gaudy box-score numbers[1][2]. If your team wants a TE with upside who can grow into a physical, assignment-solid piece, he’s a plausible fit; if you need a proven high-volume pass catcher right now, the evidence is thinner than a Sunday preseason injury report[1][11].
