steady, tough App State guard with a defensive edge
Demetrius Scott is best known as a slashing, calm-floor-leader type who could get downhill, defend with intent, and keep a team organized rather than just piling up flashy numbers; App State described him as one of the team’s “foundation” guards and arguably its best defender, and noted he played through a broken foot late in a season, which says plenty about his grit and reliability. If you want a guard who brings toughness, leadership, and on-ball defense, he’s the kind of fit coaches tend to love.
