Cadarian Raines brings size, paint toughness, and efficient finishing to Virginia Tech
At **6-foot-9** and around **238 pounds**, Cadarian Raines gave Virginia Tech a rugged frontcourt presence, and in the **2012-13 season** he averaged **4.9 points** and **4.0 rebounds** while shooting **48.1%** from the field.[5][6] His value was less about volume and more about physicality, interior defense, and doing the dirty work in the lane, which made him a useful fit for teams needing a sturdy post option rather than a featured scorer.[1][2]
